*Client Intake Information Required for Remedial, Sports and Bodyworker Massage ONLY
Intake information of your lifestyle and medical history will take approximately 5 to 10 minutes prior to your first massage. An assessment is then made to identify problems and if any conditions exist, techniques will then be fully discussed. This intake information will be done on my first visit only, then a brief discussion of your physical being will be addressed prior to any additional visit. Robert takes hygiene very seriously. For your peace of mind, all massage equipment is sterilised with antibacterial solution prior to any home, office or gym visit and Robert will also apply antibacterial hand gel before applying massage creams or oils to the client. Robert will expect the client to be as equally hygienic (a hot bath or shower not only cleans but expands joints, tendons and muscle fibre for a more rewarding massage, office visits are understandably excluded).
This will be discussed with you before your massage commences. The amount of clothing you will need to remove will depend upon two things: The kind of massage you are receiving and your own comfort level. For example, a full body massage would generally require you to undress to your underwear, to allow access to all areas. You will be covered by a towel or sheet at all times except the area being worked. You will obviously also need to remove all necklaces, bracelets and watches prior to massage.
The table used is a Master Massage Del Ray Pro Massage Table. It has 3 inch high-density, small-cell foam with environmentally and skin friendly PU-leather. As a result, this table top is amazingly responsive and comfortable. The table is wider than standard at 30" and its strength and durability makes it ideal for dealing with more "robust" clients. Please note that adequate space is required for the setting up of a massage table, approx 5 feet by 8 feet. Fresh towels and sheets will be supplied by Robert but some, if not most clients on home visits may choose to use their own towels and sheets for their own comfort and peace of mind.
